How to Select a Blockchain and Network in KS Query
To get started with KS Query, you first need to select a blockchain and network. This guide walks you through that process — from accessing KS Query in Kalp Studio to confirming your selected network.
Step 1: Accessing KS Query
Log in to Kalp Studio.
Locate the Kalp DLT Developer Portal card and click on the Go To Kalp DLT button. You'll land on the Kalp Studio Dashboard.
On the Dashboard, scroll down to the Our Products section.
Find the KS Query module and click Get Started.
Note: To access KS Query, an active subscription to KS Query is required.

If you haven’t subscribed yet, you’ll be redirected to the Billing tab.

Choose a plan:
Developer Plan – $10
Start-up Plan – $25
Enterprise Plan – $50
Quarterly Growth Plan - $27
Semi-Annual Scale Plan - $135
Annual Elite Plan - $540
For the purpose of this guide, we’ll proceed with the Developer Plan. However, you can choose any plan based on your needs.
Click Subscribe on your selected plan.
A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click Subscribe again to confirm.

Once subscribed, you’ll see the plan marked as Active under your billing details.

Note: If you already have an active KS Query subscription, you can skip this step and proceed directly to the KS Query dashboard (see below Steps).
Return to the Dashboard (or stay if you're already there).
In the Our Products section, click Explore under the KS Query card to launch the module.

You’ll now land on the KS Query dashboard.
Step 2: Select Blockchain & Network
When KS Query opens, a prompt will appear:
"Please select a blockchain and network to proceed."
Click the Select Now button.

The Blockchain & Network screen will open.
Currently, only one network is supported:
Kalp Chain → Kalp DLT Devnet
Click on Kalp DLT Devnet to proceed.

Step 3: Confirm Your Network
A confirmation popup will appear:
"Are you sure you want to connect with Kalp DLT Devnet?"
Click Yes to proceed.

Step 4: Proceed to API Setup
After confirming your network:
The KS Query dashboard will now show the next prompt: “Create an API Auth Key to continue”
Your API Request Counter will also activate, showing your request balance based on your subscription.

Why Blockchain Selection Matters
Customizability: Target a specific blockchain for your queries.
Efficiency: Avoid irrelevant data and reduce noise.
Future Options: As new chains (like Ethereum or BSC) roll out, KS Query will support broader use cases.
You’ve successfully selected your blockchain and network in KS Query. With the Kalp DLT Devnet now active, you're ready to start exploring on-chain data and making API requests. As KS Query continues to grow, more networks will become available — giving you even more flexibility and insight.
