How to Create a New Wallet?

Step 1: Installing the Kalp Wallet Extension

  1. Visit the Official Kalp Wallet Page: Searched for the Kalp Wallet extension on their browser's web store (Chrome Web Store or equivalent).

  2. Download and Install: “Add to Browser” and installed the extension successfully.

Once installed, the Kalp Wallet icon appeared in the browser toolbar, ready to launch.

Step 2: Launching the Kalp Wallet Extension

  1. Open the Extension: Click on the Kalp Wallet icon, which opens the welcome screen with options to either create a new wallet or import an existing one.

  2. Select "Create a New Wallet": Chose the "Create a New Wallet" option to begin the setup process.

Step 3: Setting Up the Wallet

  1. Create a Strong Password: The first step is to set a password for accessing the wallet. Ensure the password is strong, combining uppercase letters, numbers, and special characters.

  1. Backup Seed Phrase: After setting a password, Kalp Wallet displays a 12-word seed phrase. Carefully write down the seed phrase on paper and store it in a secure location, understanding its importance for wallet recovery.

  1. Verify the Seed Phrase: To complete the process, verify the seed phrase by selecting the words in the correct order. This step ensures you have backed it up correctly.

Step 4: Accessing the Wallet

With the setup complete, it redirects to the main wallet interface:

  • Dashboard Overview: You can now view the wallet address, current balance, and transaction history.
