How to Get Started with Kalp Studio Storage
This guide will help you get started with KS Storage on Kalp Studio, using clear, step-by-step instructions and annotated screenshots. Follow along to access and begin using the platform with ease.
Step 1: Log in to Your Kalp Studio Account
Visit the Kalp Studio login page.
Enter your email and password to log in.
After logging in, locate the Kalp DLT Developer Portal card and click on the Go To Kalp DLT button. You'll land on the Kalp Studio Dashboard, where you’ll see various products like NFT Creator, Token Creator, KS Storage, and more.
Note: If you don’t have an account yet, please sign up before continuing.
Step 2: Access the KS Storage Module
In the Our Products section of the dashboard, locate the KS Storage card.
It will be displayed alongside other products (see screenshot below).

Click on Get Started to proceed to subscription.
Step 3: Choose a Subscription Plan
You will be redirected to the Billing section automatically, where available subscription plans are displayed.

You’ll see the following options:
Developer Plan (Free, includes 100 MB storage)
Business Plan
Enterprise Plan
For the purpose of this guide, we’ll proceed with the Developer Plan. However, you can choose any plan based on your storage needs.
Click Subscribe on your selected plan.
A confirmation pop-up will appear. Click Subscribe again to confirm.

Step 4: Confirm Your Subscription
After subscribing, you’ll remain on the Billing page.
At the top of the page, you’ll see the Your Subscription section. Here, you can verify:
The active plan you just subscribed to (e.g., Developer Plan)
The subscription start date
Verify Your KS Storage Subscription
This confirms that your KS Storage plan is now active.
Step 5: Access the KS Storage Dashboard
From the Billing page, navigate back to the Dashboard.
In the Our Products section, locate the KS Storage module.
Click the Explore button within the KS Storage card.

You’ll be redirected to KS Storage, where you can begin managing your storage.
Step 6: Create a Storage Bucket
Buckets are used to organize and store your files within KS Storage.
To create your first bucket:
On the Storage Buckets page, click the Create a Bucket button located at the top right corner.

A pop-up card will appear titled Create Bucket, with a field labeled Bucket name.

Enter a name for your bucket. Once you do, the Create button becomes active.
Click Create to finish.
Your new bucket will now appear on the dashboard, ready for file uploads.
Step 7: Upload Files and Organize with Folders
Once you’ve created a bucket, you can start uploading files or organizing them using folders.
Upload Files Directly
Inside your newly created bucket, click the Upload button. This button is available in two places: at the top-right corner and at the center of the page if no files exist yet.

Select files from your device to upload them into the bucket.
Create a Folder (Optional)
To better organize your files, click New Folder, located next to the Upload button.

A pop-up will appear. Enter a Folder Name, then click Create Folder.

The new folder will now appear under your bucket.

Upload Files into a Folder with Tags (Optional)
Open the folder and click the Upload button on the top left corner to add files.

You’ll see fields to:
Select files
Add tags for better identification
Click Add to upload the files with the specified tags.

Step 8 (Optional): Generate an API Key
If you plan to interact with KS Storage programmatically, you’ll need to generate an API key.
To create an API Auth Key:
From the left-hand navigation menu, go to API Key Generation. It’s the fourth tab in the menu.

Click the Create API Auth Key button located at the top-right corner.
A pop-up will appear with the following fields:
Key Name (required)
Key Description (optional)
Create API Auth Key Enter a key name (e.g.,
"Neoblock"
) and optional description, then click Create now.Your API key will be generated and displayed in the list on the same page.

You can now use this API Auth Key to access KS Storage from external applications.
Step 9: Managing Buckets
Return to the Storage Buckets section to view the list of your created buckets.
You will see information like the bucket name, the number of files, and other details.
You can manage the buckets from this section, including adding, deleting, or viewing files.
Step 10: Manage Your Subscription
You can view and manage your KS Storage subscription details, upgrade plans, and check your purchase history.
To access your subscription:
Go to Subscriptions from the left navigation menu. It’s the second tab in the list.

On the Subscriptions page, you can:
View your active plan (e.g., Developer Plan, Business Plan, or Enterprises Plan)
Upgrade to a higher plan based on your storage needs
Check your purchase history, including:
Order ID
Purchased plan
Payment amount
Step 11 - Other functions related with Kalp Storage
1. Search by Bucket Name

Purpose: To quickly locate specific storage buckets within your Kalp Studio storage account, especially useful when managing multiple buckets.
Location: The search bar is located underneath the "Storage Buckets" section.
Steps:
Click on the Search by Bucket Name input field highlighted at the top of the bucket list.
Type the name of the bucket you wish to find. As you type, the list will filter to show only the buckets matching your input.
To view all buckets again, simply clear the text from the search field.
2. Search by Folder Name

Purpose: To specific folders within a selected bucket, making it easier to manage and organize files.
Location: Within each bucket, navigate to the "Folders" tab to locate the search function.
Steps:
Click on a bucket from the bucket list to view its contents.
Inside the bucket, switch to the Folders tab.
In the search bar at the top of the folder list, type the folder name or a keyword related to the folder you’re looking for.
The list will dynamically filter to display only the folders matching your input.
Clear the text in the search field to reset the view and see all folders in that bucket.
3. Date Range Filter for Buckets and Folders

Purpose: To narrow down searches by the date a bucket or folder was created or last used.
Location: Available beside the search bar as a date filter icon.
Steps:
Click on the date filter icon next to the search bar.
Select the start and end dates for the time range you want to filter.
Once dates are selected, only the buckets or folders created or last used within this range will be displayed.
To remove the filter, clear the selected date range by clicking “Done” without selecting dates.
4. Deleting a Folder within a Bucket

Purpose: To remove a specific folder within a bucket along with its contents.
Steps:
From the Storage Buckets page, click on the bucket that contains the folder you want to delete.
Navigate to the Folders tab to view all folders inside the selected bucket.
Click on the folder you want to delete. This will open the folder view.
In the folder view, click on the three-dot menu (⋮) located above the Filter option.
From the dropdown, select Delete.
A confirmation pop-up will appear asking if you are sure you want to delete the folder.
Click Yes to confirm and delete the folder, or Back to cancel.
5. Deleting a Bucket in Kalp Studio Storage

You can delete a bucket from the Storage Buckets page. If the bucket contains files, you’ll be prompted to move those files to another bucket before deletion.
Purpose: To remove a specific folder within a bucket along with its contents.
Steps:
Go to the Storage Buckets page where all your buckets are listed.
Locate the bucket you want to delete. On the right side of the bucket row, click the Delete (🗑) icon.
If the bucket has files in it, a pop-up will appear:
Title: "To delete this bucket, move files to a different bucket"
You’ll see a list of available buckets to move the files into.
Move Files to a Different Bucket Click on the destination bucket where you want to move the files.
A confirmation pop-up will appear:
“Are you sure you want to move files and delete the bucket?”
Click Yes to confirm, or Cancel to stop the action.
Confirm Moving Files to a Different Bucket
Upon confirmation, the files will be moved to the selected bucket, and the original bucket will be deleted.
You can verify the transfer by checking the destination bucket’s contents.
6. Remove Tags from a File
Purpose: Remove tags from a file to keep storage clean and relevant.
Steps:
Go to the Storage Buckets page and navigate to the folder containing the file.
Locate the file in the list. Under the Tags column, click the edit (✏️) icon next to the existing tags.

In the tag editing window, click the “X” next to the tag you want to remove.
Click the Add button to save your changes.
Confirm that the tag has been removed by checking the Tags column for that file.
